The Villa
Located in Shoal Bay East, Anguilla, British West Indies, this majestic 4 bedroom villa sits on one acre of stunning oceanfront property and is a short stroll to one of the finest beaches in the world. With more than 7000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space, Sandcastle Pointe is designed for relaxation, entertainment and privacy in a striking contemporary style.
An Architectural showpiece, Sandcastle Pointe features soft arches, grand spiral staircases, lighted domes and curved lines throughout. The top floor of the villa boasts two master bedrooms that overlook the breathtaking turquoise waters of Shoal Bay East. Each air-conditioned bedroom is tastefully decorated in minimalist style and features king-sized beds, Ralph Lauren bedding, eclectic art pieces, whisper quiet ceiling fans, state-of-the-art TVs and large en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers.
Two additional guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms reside off the Main level with equally gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding grounds. These rooms feature queen sized beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, art, soft lighting and outdoor showers.
The main floor of Sandcastle Pointe offers ceiling to floor "windows to the sea" that slide open and disappear into the walls to reveal sweeping views of the large pool deck, infinity edge pool and the endless blue of the ocean just beyond. A beautiful wraparound veranda is the perfect spot for lounging and alfresco dining, day and night.
The Villa's design allows continuous cooling trade winds from the east to meander through the spacious living and dining areas adjacent to the pool deck as well as the state-of-the-art Poggenpohl kitchen. A large inviting sofa adorns the living room as well as a collection of unique d'arts. The dining table seats up to 10 in style and is ideal for dinners served in tropical elegance. The spacious Spanish red high-gloss kitchen is every chef's dream and features new Miele as well as Sub-Zero appliances.
A billiard/entertainment room completes the main floor. Guests can relax in comfort with a full bar and a new SmartTV with surround sound system. The Villa has a new gym w/Peloton+ Spin Bike, weights, and yoga necessities as well as a state-of-the-art home theater!
Meet The Villa
The Kitchen
This luxury contemporary kitchen by Poggenpohl is an integral part of SandCastle Pointe's main floor space and features sliding glass doors that open the entire kitchen to the pool deck and the refreshing Caribbean breezes. Done in a striking Spanish Red and teak combination, along with Corian countertops, this kitchen is a chef's dream and a joy to work in.
New, state-of-the-art appliances are by Miele, with sub-zero draw-front refrigerator. A new integral coffee/espresso machine allows you to customize your coffee strength at the touch of a button. A second large refrigerator is located in the adjacent pantry along with plenty of shelving for all your storage needs. Just off the kitchen is a powder room for convenience.
We can also arrange to have a gourmet meal prepared in the Villa for our guests by one of Anguilla's premier exclusive chefs. Truly a memorable and tasty experience.
Living / Dining Area
With 18 foot ceilings and plenty of light from the large windows that encircle the main floor, the living and dining spaces at Sandcastle Pointe are spectacular. Two fabulous custom made mid-century glass petal ball chandeliers hang as the area's focal point and are wonderful conversation starters. Grand circular staircases adorn the main floor on each side of the living room and lead to two identically sized master bedrooms suites upstairs for complete privacy.
The Villa's entryway is graced with a 1950's era Lucite chandelier and custom-made mahogany and glass double doors. The dining room table expands to ten feet and will seat 10 comfortably when fully extended. The living area boasts a large sectional seating area, perfect for gazing out onto the turquoise waters that surround and for entertaining or... simply stretching out and reading a book.
Billiards & Entertainment
A favorite space of SandCastle Pointe guests is the billiard / entertainment area. This is where most people spend their time (when not in the pool) The centerpiece of this room is a modern, solid cherry Vital billiard table that will bring out the pool shark in everyone. At the other end of the room is a seating area facing the SmartTV and the whole room is bathed with Sonos surround sound.
A semi-circular seating area is surrounded by windows on the western end of the wall which frame inspiring nightly sunsets.
In the middle of the room is the custom bar, complete with ice maker and wine-cooler/refrigerator. Did someone say Mai Tai? Rum Punch? Ice cold beer? For your convenience a powder room is also located next to the bar, behind the TV.
As you open the sliding glass doors, this room combines with the pool deck to create a comfortable indoor-outdoor living space. Entertaining was never easier to enjoy!
Guest Bedrooms
Two air conditioned bedrooms on the main floor, each with complete privacy and as special as all the bedrooms. Both have Cyprus wood slat walls behind the queen-sized beds, walk in closets, ceiling fans, Ralph Lauren bedding, relaxing collector art works and balconies with spectacular ocean views. Each bedroom is provided with a SmartTV for your viewing pleasure.
Each balcony is provided with art deco Loop chairs and tables.
En-suite bathrooms include indoor and outdoor showers, single sinks with Corian countertops and teak cabinets.
Master Bedrooms
A unique and very special feature of Sandcastle Pointe Villa are the two Master suites. Located on each side of the upstairs floor, identical air conditioned master bedrooms are accessed by private circular staircases, illuminated by collector inspired Sputnik lights and dome lighting. As you enter the spacious bedrooms through antique curved mahogany doors you will notice the Cyprus ceilings and walls behind the King-sized beds.
Large seating areas are perfect for reading and relaxing, while walk-in closets are provided for your convenience. Each suite is provided with state-of-the-art Samsung Sero SmartTVs. A private outdoor terrace can be enjoyed with Loop chairs and a cushioned bench to view the spectacular never-ending ocean views.
The sleek large master en-suite baths include both indoor and outdoor showers, double sinks on Corian countertops and teak cabinets. For your ultimate relaxation there is also a Bin Ultra Origami hydrotherapy tub.
Pool Deck
The curved infinity-edge pool and surrounding deck is the centerpiece of SandCastle Pointe Villa. Lounge in the glorious Caribbean sun or seek shelter under the beautiful wrap around veranda ... the choice is yours! Lounge chairs are provided for your comfort by the pool. Stereo speakers are installed outside on the veranda adjacent to the pool. The sound system is Sonos for ease of use and acoustical quality.
Sip your favorite drink - Mai Tai, Rum Punch, Painkillers and ice cold beer are the owner's drinks of choice. A perimeter step has been included within the pool edge to allow you to stand and view the ocean while enjoying your beverage. Turn on the multi colored pool lights or select one color to enjoy a different mood each evening.
"Live Outer" outdoor wicker furniture provides all the comforts needed to enjoy your time.
A stainless steel infrared grille by TEC Grilles is provided for an authentic Caribbean BBQ feast prepared by a private chef upon request or try it yourself.
Home Theater
We have a new home theater in the lower level of the Villa. Two (2) rows of theater seating as well as those all so important large 'cozy' pillows... The theater is air-conditioned, and provided with all encompassing 120" laser projection system and rock star level Sonos sound system. Great to relax and enjoy a movie after a long, hard day at the beach...
Personal Gym
The Villa includes a personal gym for our guests to break a sweat or enjoy some time for relaxation. It features a Peloton Bike+ (Spin Bike), weights, yoga mats, buckwheat yoga pillows, mirrors, and cushioned flooring. Additionally, a beverage refrigerator is available for refreshments during after your workout.
The Property
Situated on an acre of oceanfront property, SandCastle Pointe not only offers a stunning view of the sea but also a great deal of privacy to enjoy it.
To add to your pleasurable stay there are outdoor activities provided for when mellow activity is desired including putting green, a bocce' court, infinity pool, and the all time classic... cornhole.

Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship
SandCastle Pointe, while being a Luxury Villa retreat, also strives to minimize its impact on the environment and demonstrates to our guests and peers that a full luxury experience can be fulfilled while respecting the limited resources on Anguilla and minimizing our carbon footprint. This is accomplished through low-flow water fixtures, xeriscape, on-property well water source, and on-property desalination, and UV-Filtration on the water supply. Coupling that with on-property solar photovoltaics (PV) and battery storage along with high performance/COP equipment - we often achieve Net-Zero Energy and Net-Zero Water fulfillment.
21st Century Home Technology
SandCastle Pointe was built with both entertainment and comfort in mind using the most current technology to allow you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The villa, pool and grounds are blanketed in wireless internet through a Mesh system for consistent connection. Whether you need to quietly check on some work emails, videoconferencing, or preferably look up local restaurants for a delicious night out, the network is more than capable of supporting all of your needs.
Water
The villa features a state-of-the-art water system (Technopure) with UV-Filtration that purifies water for drinking. This water quality meets or exceeds current bottled water quality. This means all water is filtered and pure to drink. The hot water system is controlled by a re-circulator which keeps hot water running through the Villa at all times. No more need to turn on the water and wait for it to get hot. Your time and comfort are valuable.
Entertainment
The upper bedroom suites are provided with "Sero" SmartTVs. The lower bedroom are provided with large format SmartTVs also. There is a main SmartTV in the entertainment room supplemental with Sonos surround sound speakers.
The pool and outside entertaining area is also provided with Sonos controlled high performance speakers.
The new Home Theater includes a 120" Laser projection system, Sonos surround sound and comfy theater chair in a fully air-conditioned space.
